Welcome to DiggsWorld.
We are all in this together.
This is not some throw away feel good phrase. It is a testable assertion. There is nothing that anyone does that does not somehow affect others. People we don’t know and will never be aware of are affecting how we live our lives. This is not to suggest some grand conspiracy. Most of the people affecting our lives are not aware of our existence or how what they do affects others. They are just busy trying to make their lives work. But our actions have ripple effects. Our decisions affect more than ourselves.
Our intentions and actions can and should be coordinated for the benefit of all, not just a few. Our votes should consider if the candidate or proposal is in the best interest of the most people most of the time. There will not likely be a perfect choice. We have to make the best choice from the options we have and then try to create better options. That is the road to improvement for all of us.
